Kid's Say the Darndest Things

Hi there!  My name is Audrah and this is a collective of all of my experiences with kids.  Yes, I work with kids, quite frequently, however for security reasons I won't disclose much more than that, but I thought it might be finally time to share some of my stories, but fair warning not all of them will send you on smiling, however this first one will probably make you chuckle.
This was probably about a month back and I was working with another young woman and we had an eight year old in our center that day.  The young woman I was working with happened to have two facial piercings.  I'll pause here to say they were rather tasteful, (a nose and lip piercing) with small appliances in both.  Well anyway the little girl was kind of curious about why the young woman had them so she asked why the girl had "punched holes in her face."  It was rather out of the blue and the both of us were surprised by it.  I admit I started to giggle as my coworker explained that she willingly put the holes there because she liked the way they looked and was quite fond of them. After a little back and forth the little girls ends up coming out and saying "Well I don't think anyone looks good with them.  You shouldn't punch holes in your face."
I started dying!  I know I should have said something about how it wasn't a very nice way to phrase her opinion and that she would understand more when she was older, but I was too busy cracking up at the audacity of that little girl.  Hope this cheered you up!
